Candidates seeking admission into any National Diploma (ND) programme at Gaya Polytechnic must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two sittings in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE), NECO, or GCE O'Level.
Candidates applying through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) must register for the appropriate JAMB subject combination for their chosen programme and meet the minimum cut-off mark set by the Polytechnic for the given admission year. Candidates must also select Gaya Polytechnic as their first choice institution on their JAMB registration.
Candidates applying through Direct Entry must possess an ND, HND, NCE, or equivalent qualification in a related field from a recognised institution, in addition to meeting the O'Level requirements stated above.
