Gaya Polytechnic opens its doors to the community for a day dedicated to skills demonstrations and technical education awareness. This outreach event is designed to strengthen the relationship between the Polytechnic and the people of Gaya and its surrounding communities, showcasing the practical training available across engineering technology, applied sciences, environmental studies, and business education.
Visitors will have the opportunity to tour campus facilities, interact with lecturers and technical staff, and see live demonstrations from students and instructors highlighting hands-on skills taught within the institution's programmes. The event also serves as an awareness drive for prospective students and their families, offering guidance on admission requirements, available courses, and the career opportunities that follow.
As a state-owned institution built to accelerate educational and economic development across the emirate, Gaya Polytechnic sees community engagement as central to its mission, creating not just skilled graduates, but a lasting, positive impact on the town it calls home.
